Posted By Ian Waldram H2S depends on the reservoir - for many wells it's not a hazard. But high pressure and flammable fluids, manual handling, temporary power systems, lifting operations, chemicals (for many interventions), adjacent production operations, weather (depending on the offshore location) and equipment integrity issues are some others to consider.
WSCA have just published some relevant guidance, available on the Step Change website.
