Can anyone recommend me risk assessment software , as my current (risk assessor pro) was not exactly popular with my auditor?

I would look no further than http://www.hse.gov.uk/risk/fivesteps.htm. It is free and there is lots of guidance and examples to work from and there is no risk matrix to complicate it.

How can your auditor argue against this format or method?
