Hi Guys,

Can anyone please clarify for someone who is going into meltdown, when a CP12 cert is required:

1. Rented house - family occupancy / HMO
2. Block of flats with gas central heating
3. Sheltered accomodation with gas central heating and catering facilities.

I am probably hoping for too much if I wished for a yes / no.

The other concern if CP12 isn't required then what should we be doing?

Thanks in advance

Lisa

I presume youre talking about a CORGI CP12 form.

It would normally be issued to a rented property and would highlight the gas appliances on site and those that have been tested to ensure they are safe to use.

These are appliances primarily provided by the landlord and may not include those provided by the tenant.
