Electric Cigarettes - Passive Smoking Solved

Afternoon all,
have you seen this article on the BBC website about electric cigarettes.
They are battery powered and release a small dose of liquid nicotine when inhaled, the ends light up like a real cigarette and they also produce water vapour to simulate the smoke that you would breath out.
As you are not actually smoking you can use indoors without contravening any legislation or creating a nuisance in any way. You could probably go back to the old days of smoking at your desk.

It will certainly put a stop to having to walk through a wall of smoke when you enter some pubs

The "smoke" may contain water vapour, but I understand it's also propylene glycol aerosol as in smoke generation for stage shows. Health effects unknown although maybe better than carbon nanoparticles covered in nasty carcinogenic tarry stuff.
