Hi Guys,
Been looking through the LOLER ACOP to see if Scissor Lift Tables are covered by LOLER requirements. I can't decide from the examples listed. Has anyone covered this before? I'm thinkin of adding it to our insurance inspections but i want to know if this is a LOLER requirement incase i need to justify it. For some reason i have a niggling doubt in my head from the past that it isn't???
Cheers.

Regulation 2 of LOLER gives the interpretation of 'lifting equipment' as 'work equipment for lifting and lowering loads'.
The ACOP confirms this equipment, amongst others, as: -
(a) a passenger lift in an office block
(b) a rope and pulley used to raise a bucket of cement on a building site
(c) a dumb waiter in a restaurant or hotel
(d) a vacuum lifting crane
(e) a vehicle inspection hoist
(f) a scissor lift
Regards
Mike

Yes (agree with above).
Statutory inspections every 6 months (lifting people)

Sorry, just re-read the question. If it's for lifting goods, it's 12 months. Your insurers should give you the answers
