Storage of Gas cylinders and distance of parked vehicles

I have had recent query presented to me regarding safe distance between storage cages for gas cylinders (O2, Hydrogen, CO2, LPG) etc.
We have it set up in cages, segregated, safe distances between cylinders (flammable and oxygen)and padlocked and signage displayed. I think it is set up well from this point of view. However at times lately, due to space constraints we have had contractors parking their vans near to the front of these cages.
The question is is there a requirement that vehicles must be a certain distance from these storage units at all times? I cannot find it within any sources i have been looking at.
Cheers for any help!

Hi
Pressurised containers should be stored away from vehicles that could cause them to be punctured such as forklifts, im thinking that under certain circumstances a car could cause one to be punctured.
see here for more info

Hope this helps

minimum of 1 metre for 400kg LPG Gavin. Up to 3 metres for >400kg.
These are BCGA guidance figures. The LP Gas Association Guidance docs are more closely guarded and a bit pricy.
I'd also come at this from a more general angle of enforcing local rules. A wee bit of yellow hatching on the ground may help, and you need to consider that people will need access to the cage from time to time and sufficint space to open the gates and maneouvre cylinders, trolleys etc in a safe manner. This includes the times when the delivery truck comes to load or unload cylinders.
