Posted By Del Leslie-Dell This question may have been asked before, but i am still learning and studying h&s and have never done anything under CDM before.
my question is a principal contractor is supposed to supply safety plans and rules, would this be as in a manufacturing site rules and safety policy but just for there domain of the site?
secondly can anyone tell me where a could find a good example of one.
all help welcomed

Posted By FAH Hi Dell
To keep it very simple - the answer is essentially "yes" to the first part of your question.
For the 2nd part - there are thousands of them out there but not that many are so good that should be used as examples in response to your request.
Also, because sites & activities vary so much, what may be a good example for one may not be as good for another activity & site.
The Guidance to CDM is well worth a read [provided you're an insomniac] as it gives considerable insight into the 2nd part of your query.
