Hi,
Can anyone tell me if the removal of UFFI requires a licenced contractor as in the case of asbestos removal. Also, I understand that it can release gases as it degrades. Therefore, when encountered during a refurbishment is it advisable, where possible, to leave it in-situ or to have it removed? Presumably UFFI is considered hazardous waste, can anyone confirm this?
Regards
Richard

Richard - contact your normal waste contractor and they will advise.
That is what you pay them for.
