Hi, I'm looking to source tools/ equipment that would aid the process of dismantling long term scaffold that pose a risk from rusty fittings etc. any takers regards safe and suitable tools/ equipment that would reduce the persons exposure to over exertion...

I take it that the scaffold is a tube and clip type.
WD40 and a long handled spanner, angle grinder as a back up...

Hi Folks,
When I worked off shore on the Oil Rigs we used to strike some seriously rusty scaffolding's (the worst even being done with a hammer)but there are spanners that have 18 inch handles as apposed to the 9 inch.
I did try to source them but can not find them.
My advice would be to call Rigblast, Cape in Aberdeen and ask them, they do buy a lot of them and they do work although you do have to oil them the day previous.
