Respectfully, shouldn't any decent MDHS 100 Survey Reports prepared by a reputable Surveyor already be directly available in MS Excel or Access, and therefore readily adaptable to enable the SME to manage, without any need for the purchase of any further IT "package"?

Already done that!!! now want to bring it from the paper age into the IT age! Thanks for the info but what I was really after is does anyone have a good experience of software which is user friendly? is you can email me offline etc

Maybe you missed my point Dave. Provision by the Surveyor of Register info. directly to the Cient in electronic spreadhseet format (MS Excel, etc.) enables a management plan to be very quickly developed (e.g. by adding additional columns) and initiated without need for further software applications.
The good Surveyor will provide a Report requiring little or no further work by the Client to enable it to function as an AAR/AMP.
