Posted By stephen d clarke Hi, Expect you are aware of this but there are slight differences in the HSE's signals in Safety Signs & Signals Regs and those outlined I think in BS 7121. Steve

Posted By SteveD-M There are also specific courses available for banksmen/yardsmen. Some with RTITB and others.

Posted By Clare Gabriel We have trained up about 10 Banksman recently using RoSPA - they were very good and was well worth the price and got all the training materials including the signals to be used. I think this is something you need to give proper training to - meaning so long as you are a 'competent' banksman its ok but tool box talk seems a little brief for such a safety critical function
