I have been asked what distance electricity and gas meters should be apart when sited in a cupboard. Whereas I appreciate some of the other hazards e.g fire safety I wonder if anyone can point to regulations or other info to help me with this.

Regards

Stephen

Not sure of any official distance but i change electric meters for a living and regularly come across meters i cannot change as gas guys have been after us on initial install and fitted the gas meter right infront of the electric one, in some cases touching against it so I dont think anyone cares!!
