Posted By Lee Mac Hi All, We are about to embark on a construction project in ROI for a Client. We are based in NI and a fully encompassing H&S Policy. My query is- how do I now devise a H&S Statement to meet the legislative requirements in ROI? Regards Lee

Posted By MickN Your H&S policy should conform to the requirements of a safety statement. I say this without knowing for sure but I'd be surprised if there were gaps (aside from the obvious references to legislation). In the ROI every company must have a safety statement and Philip is quite right to point you to the HSA website. I'd make sure the document was in place, however, I wouldn't spend too much time on it as there are more specific project documents that need your attention. Mick (in the ROI)

Posted By MickN Oh, and make sure you send two copies of the safety statement to the person at the top of the org chart for signing. One copy for you and another for the client/spare. Mick
