Posted By SNS I am not a scaffolder but have asked my guys at work previously. It depends what is is being used for is the stock answer. More accurate info is available though the NASC website and guidance documents. Regards, S

Posted By Robert K Lewis Brian 5 boards is about the minimum which equates to around 900mm. This actually relates back to the general standards set out in the WAH regulations which in turn were derived from the old construction regulations. You can go less but with great caution and only if it is not practicable, in my book, to have a full width deck. Bob

Posted By Anthony Mullen I believe A very light duty scaffolding used for inspection/cleaning can be 3 boards wide with a 2.7m standard spacing (0.75kN/m²)
