Posted By Juan Carlos Arias Professional pest controllers will use a gel called GOLIATH or Avert. have a look at this links with practical info. If you work for a big company, get a pest control company involved, if you would rather do it yourself, see second link for DIY pest control http://www2.rentokil.co....jaiqXFypkCFRCdnAod7W-Dtg http://www.pestcontroldi...ect_Cockroaches__25.html

Posted By TT Sprays are fairly defunct now for long term control. Gels are the way to go and much safer to be around (for you). Beware that roach lifecycles can result in an extended period of control being required. It starts with a good initial kill, then eggs left behind hatch and the problem starts all over again. Several treatments may therefore be required and that is fairly typical - especially in a sizeable property with a large infestation. I'm not sure what's available to the likes of you or I from the nearest Homebase or B&Q etc. but would advise to follow the above advice and bring in a specialist if you aren't used to treating roaches (especially if the LA will do it for free!) There is quite a skill to getting rid of roaches. If you do get someone in, then make sure they use a gel. If you're in the UK and they tell you they're going to spray then I'd be wary of just how good they are.
