Posted By Barrie (Badger) Etter Can anyone advise me where I may find a web site that covers Scottish safety legislation or with a Scot's bias? I've been asked to do research on outdoor activities with a bias to Scotland and a promise of other activities in that region. (Yes I know the majority is UK wide but it has been suggested there's a separate site for the Scots and NO its not an April fool thing)
As ever all responses are much appreciated.
Regards, Badger

Posted By MT Speaking as a Scots LA inspector, there are very few differences. It's only when you start looking at devolved topics such as the Smoking legislation and Skin Piercing that there is any difference. If you're interested in adventure activities, then it matters not one jot which part of the UK it's in, because it's the AALS which looks after them: http://www.hse.gov.uk/aala/

Posted By Simon Heesom Barrie Hi, You do have the 'Occupiers Liability (Scotland) Act 1960'. as opposed to the 57 and 84 in England, but don't confuse it with the 'Rright to Roam Act.
Cheers
Simon
