Whist in Germany recently, I was shown a chart which depicts legislation and codes of paractice etc as applicable to that country and how it fits in to each other. Starting with EU directives, then health and safety law then german equivalent of acops and standards etc -this was split into categories in columns ie coshh, machinery etc. It was a good flow chart showing what directive/law/acop/standard/best practice appplied and linked into each other (it was a big chart).
The question was asked do we have a similar thing produced here -I said I dont know - but i will find out from my learned collegues.

Anyone seen anything like this in uk?

Paul, HSE has a list of regulations on its website: http://www.hse.gov.uk/le...tion/statinstruments.htm
but this is merely an alphabetical list and a similar one for Acts: http://www.hse.gov.uk/legislation/acts.htm
They are working on industry specific listings but these are not complete.

I suspect none of these is what you want and I cannot offer any more leads. It is of course possible that someone reading this thread will have prepared something suitable and if you are prepared to share, please post a link.
