Posted By Gary123 Evening I hope someone can help me.... I am trying to source an item of plant that can provide a firm, level work platform for work on steep grass embankments. If you can imagine a cross between a scissor lift and an inclined plane. Due to the task & the environment it has to be tracked rather than wheeled, and hold 3 people. It doesn't have to extend high, just capable of levelling off. I've seen drilling rigs fitted to something similar in magazines in the past but can't find anything now that I need one!! Any suggestions where to look Regards, Gary

Posted By Bob Youel I saw an old WW11 tracked army vehicle recently [4 man carrier] that was being used by a grounds maintenance/fencing company on very steep and rough slops that was ideal [a 'wasp' or something similar - smaller version of the 'DUKE'[spelling?]]. I have searched high and low for a modern version [ out of interest mainly] but to no avail The owner was using it in a work situation and it was his pride and joy [he did the army vehicle shows with it]. It was a really great bit of kit. Still working properly after >60 years and it could get almost anywhere in any position and the ground distribution weight was very light so it had very little adverse effect on a grass area and stability was terrific - they just don't build them like they used to!
