Hi there,

A heavy engineering plant uses trestles to rest work pieces on. The said trestles are built in house by coded welders, I feel they should be tested to what maximum capacity they should take. At present eight are holding a 20ft structure weighing in excess of 13 Tonne.

Thank you for any replies in advance

I had a similar query here, but nothing to the size you described.

I had our Technical Director and chartered engineer look at each trestle get dimensions material etc etc and provide calculations to weight 1 trestle could hold 2 trestles etc etc.

Regard

Ken
