Quite a few, however the main change is probably the Instructions in Writing, this has to be supplied by the carrier now. There are a few new UN numbers that have been added i.e lithium bateries, also chapter 3.5 Excepted Packages is a new chapter, tunnel codes will have to be entered on the Dangerous Goods note. These are the main changes, most came into effect on the 01.01.09, and most will be compulsory on the 01.07.09.

You may be getting confused here.
The CDG regs are not changing what happens is the UN ADR changes every two years in Jan and CDG usually refers you back to ADR, with a few exceptions as the placarding of vehicles is different in the UK in relation to the rest of the world, and few other special requrements for the UK.
So "instructions in writing" (trem cards) are changing under ADR however the CDG refers to the "instructions in writing under ADR" so CDG does not have to change.
Does that make sense
