Posted By Richard Beevers I'm being seconded to do some work with a company in Northern Ireland. I realse (am assuming?!) most of the legislation there will (should?!) be similar to the rest of Great Britain, but I know there are differences. Does anyone have a sumary list of differences, or equivalent legisslation between NI and Great Britain? If anyone has worked in both areas, I'd really appreciate talking to you to see if there are any obvious pitfalls to avoid. Cheers, Al.

Posted By Lee Mac Richard One of the main differences is NI has the H&S@Work Order(NI)78 in place of the Act of 74. Most pieces of legislation are rather similar in theory and their aim, with a common difference being NI legislation usually follows a year after it was released in GB- although this is not strictly true for ALL.
