Has anyone got on site or have knowledge of a cripplant?

The in house maintenance team have expressed concerns on the way that some repairs are carried out on the equipment and I am working with them to create a safe system of work.

They tell me that the installers of the equipment showed them to just climb up the shoots with nothing but the grip on there boots to keep them, this is not safe in anyway and someone could get hurt.

Please let me know if you have any knowledge.

Many thanks
