Hi All,
I am looking to buy a projector for training purposes - I've never had to buy one of my own as I've always used the companies.
Being a bit of a technophobe myself, I am looking for a bit of advice on what type to buy. I'm on a limited budget and looking for something reliable.
Any suggestions greatly recieved
Thanks
Neil

Once you've got a feel for what spec you want, it's worth looking at the Tesco Direct catalog (strange but true) - they have two pages full of the things.

250 from argos make sure you check out the light life as they i have heard are nearly as expensive as the projector to replace

have used a number of different projectors over the years, and they can all be slightly different.
Depending on how much of a "technophobe" you actually are - can you not buy the same one you used from your employer who's operation you are familiar with, or go for the simplest one you can get rather than the all singing all dancing version that may do something unexpected at the beginning of a training session (or even worse half way through!)
I would also consider what size room/ audience you intend to use it with. Have used a projector in a small room to great effect, but when we tried to use in a large room looked like we were using a candle!
Good luck with your choice.
