Posted By Ian Axford-Hawkes I have just been told about this energy saving 3-way socket adaptor for computer use. It turns off all connected peripherals when the PC is powered down. See http://www.oneclickpower.com/store/ I'm concerned about uncontrolled use. Some people may not use them as they were designed - I'm thinking toaster, kettle and Terry Wogan! If it were a simple 3-way socket we would be advising replacement with a 3-gang strip (whilst staying within the rating). It's rated to 13A and marked BS1363/3 and BS5733, no CE mark. Anyone come across these before?

Posted By Ron Hunter I see there is a strip version of this product available. Lots of blurb on the website about ce mark, but no reference to compliance with low voltage directive and no absolute reference to this product actually having all necessary compliance to allow ce marking. IF it doesn't, then it shouldn't be on the market?
