Posted By Messy Shaw Shell have been successfully prosecuted following serious problems at their flagship building, the Shell Centre. It seems that (incredibly) they ignored the findings of the 2003 risk assessment and let their iconic building deteriorate fire safety wise to a point where the LFB issued a prohibition notice on it. £345,000 in fines (largest fine since the RR(FS)O was introduced) & costs - and perhaps a head or two rolling somewhere. Let's hope they manage fire safety on their rigs in a more efficient manner. http://www.london-fire.g...sReleases2008_PR1119.asp
