Posted By Big John Hi everyone, I would like your help, I've been informed that this would be a great place to get help with regards to getting information. Currently I'm working on a project and need information the Railway Group Standards and NR Group Standards, the problem is I've no idea what standards are relevent to my company. The company I work for supplies road rail vehicles, the person who normaly deals with this is off work due to sickness. I have access to IHS but have no clue where to start and what standards are relvent to the work we undertake. I would be extreamly grateful of you could assist me with this issue. Regards John.

Posted By Raymond Rapp John In the absence of a response I will try and assist. However, you need to be more specific in what standards you require. For example, what task have you been given? Ray

Posted By Bob Shillabeer Hello Big John, Railway Group Standards are published by RSSB and are available on line. Network Rail Standards are specific to Network Rail and are available directly from them. Can you be specific as to which RG Standards you are interested in by subject such as train operations and management, control command and and signalling and electrification, or infrastructure and rolling stock.

Posted By Safety Lemon Big John There are specific standards relating to use of RRV in the rail industry. The following link provides the necessary ones for RRV for use on Network Rail managed infrastructure: http://www.achilles.com/...--EE-codes-of-practice-/ If you need any other advice contact me directly.
