Hi All,

I am trying to find a practical recording inspection system/checklists on working at height equipment
e.g. Harness, rope grab, Karibener, ropes used with rope grab etc..

Any help greatfully appreciated - I have started to look at this but I am losing the will to live (so to speak)

I have started to look at the guidance but it is not very specific.

Regards,

Calogero (Paul) Gattuso

Are you in the UK? If so there's a textbook available (but as I wrote it, the forum rules don't allow me to give you a link). If you're outside the EU it's more difficult, as although the practical things to check will be the same, the workplace legal requirements for things like record-keeping and product certification will vary from country to country.

Using the HSE site you can do various searches and you'll find information about inspecting lanyards, fall arrest equipt etc Also, the Work at height safety association (WAHSA) has numerous guides you can use.
