After completing my abrasive wheels instructors course, i am now challenged with putting an in-house training package together and hoping if anyone has any abrasive wheels presentations or videos that will help me can they please forward them on.
Regards
Paul

Training abrasive wheels using powerpoint achieves nothing. This is a practical course and should last at least 1 day to cover the requirements of HSG 17.
Cover:
Hazards and risks
Control measures
Identification and Selection
Inspection of AW and equipment to be used
PPE
Fitting
Practical sessions on the above in cluding some cutting/grinding commonly carried out.
End test, they love tests....

I agree but I’m starting with a presentation, a few scary slides, videos, then on with the practical session and definitely a test.

Paul, We have put a number of our staff through an external Abrasive Wheel training course but they have come back and advised a lot of it wasn't relevant to the work we do or the equipment we use, working of granite, no local training company will do a bespoke course so we are looking to create our own more specific training, would appreciate any info or presentations you would care to share, thanks.
