Posted By Brian Weaver can anyone please advise question is there a defined ratio that a company must provide. i.e. defined number or percentage of disabled parking spaces that must be provided by a company in relationship to the size and number of its employees

Posted By Swis There is NO ratio as such. It will depend upon on your own assessment ( no of disabled workers compared to non disbaled workers at your workplace.

Posted By SteveD-M BS8300 which says one space for every disabled employee and a certain percentage of the total spaces (depending on the building use) for visiting disabled motorists - 2% for workplaces, 6% for shopping/leisure...

Posted By Adrian Woon Hello Brian I got the following from the following website: www.disabled-parking.net/moredda1995.asp Required Provision of Dedicated Parking Spaces • Workplaces - 1 per disabled employee plus 1 space or 2% of the total capacity, whichever is the greater. • Shopping, recreation & leisure - 1 per disabled employee plus 6% of the total capacity. • Rail Car Parks - 1 per disabled employee plus 5% of the total capacity. • Churches - 2 spaces. • Crematoria - 2 spaces. regards, Adrian
