Posted By thom_williams Hello, We have 2 candidates on a IOSH MS course next week joining us from Qatar, and whilst the employer has asked for the course content to remain inchanged, we would like to put somethings into context for them by using some local examples for them. Can anyone point me in the direction of any resources where I may find such information? Regards Thom @ DTD Training

Posted By martinw Hi Thom Qatar has recently had some H&S new legislation put in their school systems. Have a look at the following link: it gives info regarding this, but also the organisation which drafted the regs and who will monitor/review it. Hope it helps and that the delegates will be aware of the organisations mentioned. http://www.menafn.com/qn...s.asp?storyid=1093206163 Cheers Martin

Posted By Jay Joshi Refer to the ILO Natlex database, for Qatar:- http://www.ilo.org/dyn/n...?p_lang=en&p_country=QAT It has a list of various work related legislation, including Occupational Health and safety. You need to confirm all this in some way as this database may not be updated very frequently, but is a good start! The home page of Natlex is:- http://www.ilo.org/dyn/n...ex_browse.home?p_lang=en
