I would like to ensure the audit has meaning so it must identify issues that would slow the evac and also issues that the fire service would spot as well. Posted By Eliza Flutterby Hi Robert, I don't have one to hand, but you could include, for example: Fire extinguishers - correctly sited, undamaged, unused, correctly signed Fire doors closed and undamaged, seals intact Escape corridors unobstructed, no items stored etc All fire safety checks done for that month (eg fire alarm, smokeheads, emergency lighting) All fire training up to date for that month That's just off the top of my head, am sure you'll be able to think of loads more!!
