Posted By John Mac Carthy The items are part of the intrinsic safety measures required for using this type of equipment. I would say yes and on top of this the flash back arrestors have a life span of approximately two years, depending on the manufacturer. The suppliers such as BOC and others provide useful gas safety guidance which may be of use to you here. Good luck John
