Posted By Homer Currently drowning in workload and some bright spark up top has decide I need to audit one of our international areas on HSEQ compliance. No warning and no time to prepare.
Has anyone already made up a checklist of questions for similar that they could let me have against ISO 9001, 18001 and 14001.
Why do they do it???

Posted By Stefan Daunt Hi Homer,
Ideally, with reference to ISO 9001:2008 you need to know what procedures are currently in place at the place of auditing before you leave.
This enables you to formulate your audit around what they have existingly before you arrive and have questions relative to how they operate when you arrive on site. For example you might arrive on site and ask for records of LOLER inspection and they may not actually have anything that does any lifting or raising.
If they are ISO 9001 accredited and are aware an inspection is taking place, they should have no objection to sending you their procedures, so that you can formulate a relative audit.
