Hi,

Can anyone recommend a training provider who can provide Hydrogen Fluoride refresher training for experienced operators?

We're looking for someone who can refresh their awareness of the hazards and help them bring their handling procedures and controls in light of current day best practice

We're based in the North East.

Regards and thanks,

Dave.

First you need to clarify whether it is hydrogen fluoride (gas) or hydrofluoric acid (liquid).

We handle this and have developed our own in-house course. The first aid protocols are strongly dependent on the concentration, so it made sense to tailor the course to the kinds of use.

If you are interested I could converse off-forum about the contents of the course we run.

I used to use (many years ago) St Johns Ambulance but I can't find any information on their website.

The company where we bought the treatment kit from do training - see http://www.kaysmedical.c...n_hydro_acid_treatm.htm.
