Posted By andrew bryan Dear All, Hope you are all enjoying the weather!! Quick question for you: We have some of our WH staff working on a raised mezzanine floor, because of the heat we want to install some type of ceiling fan, does anyone know of any height limit that the fan's blades should be from reaching distance from one of the workers underneath? (If we install one now the current distance estimation is approx 50cms from on outstretched hand). What do you think? Thanks and regards Andy

Posted By Mike DF If the fans have guards and are 50 cm away you should be OK - unless you are a test house for umbrellas. Record the above in the risk assessment and you will be in business. Don't forget to consider the fan noise and any draughts
