Posted By RobertW I wonder if any member can help me. Our site has now got a need for personnel to wear high viz clothing, the problem is that it is a very dirty site and the high viz wont stay clean and my concerns are they won't be fit for purpose after a while. I remember when working in a laundry as part of the service we checked all high viz garments after washing with a small torch like item, we stood the garments about 20 foot away in a dark room and shone the torch at it and looked through the lens to see what was being reflected back, based on the results the garment was either passed or pulled from service. The question I need to ask is does anybody know where to purchase such an item?

Posted By Bob Y I haven't come across that piece of kit, but depending on what sort of hi vis clothing is required I wonder if a more cost effective and less laborious way may be to simply replace - we have been buying 'tabbards' at a 'silly' price. I accept that this does depend on how many you have to replace and how often though.
