Posted By martinw Good old Daily Mail and A N Wilson. Love the quote 'Stress is for the pampered generation'. That's like blaming front line WW1 soldiers for getting shellshock - well no one had it before that, did they, must be their fault..... Every time something medical is redefined it becomes an issue and 'experts' bicker on whether it is a different malady or just a new description of an existing one. 'Yuppie Flu' only stopped becoming an object of ridicule when it was recognised(and still not by all) and redescribed as M.E./Chronic Fatigue Syndrome. It ruined many lives and continues to do so. Absenteeism is a political issue to the extent that some in the press seem to indicate that this is yet another aspect of liberalism which is getting in the way of productivity. Anyone for a revolution? Storm Parliament's doors and then offer to pay for the damage? Revolutions can be nice!
