Hi all,
need a little help here as Im not sure what they will be expecting from me.....
We install presses around the world and we are currently installing one in Turkey, some of our field guys are out on site now and work to UK H&S legislation, they have a H&S file etc......
The MD of the company in Turkey is very impressed with the way our guys are working, with regards to health and safety...he has asked if I will come over to give them a presentation on H&S as they are very eager to try and start working to UK standards. They would like me to look at setting up policies and procedures for them............................
I have to go out there soon to complete a site audit, If/when I have to give them a presentation I really am not sure on what subjects to cover....
Does anyone have any suggestions and any presentations I could take a look at.....
Thanks in advance folks!

I know nothing about Turkish H & S but is it worth starting with a summary of HSG65? At this stage, a broad brush outline may be better than a lot of legislative fine detail.

How about "don't do what you normally do" or " what you normally do or how you normally work... do the opposite"

Joking aside, as said above start with a brief overview of the management system and go from there.

Hi Ucan
I already have some experience in Turkey. If you wish to contact me [via Consultants Register] I'll try to provide some pointers - fo free in the 1st instance.
You don't often get an offer like that from a consultant!!!

Sharon or Ucan
Yeah I know about the IOSH Consultants Register - why don't you try finding me on the [reference removed] site?
Your emails are blanked [like mine] so I can only ask that you email me on the following - but take the : and the space out first. [Anti-phishing tactic].
