Posted By STEVE Whose resposibilty is it , to report this Incident via RIDDOR, whilst work was being performed for a Client an external pipeline was damaged and gas released for a period of time ,which needed assistance from the local Gas Board for repairs. No police or fire brigade needed to attend No injuries sustained only property damage I am persuming that it is RIDDOR Reportable under "Dangerous Occurence"?? Is it the Clients with it being their propery, or ours as the main contractor for the work being performed, or both of us to ensure all eventualities are covered? Regards

Posted By steve hardcastle suggest contractor takes the lead but must be in conjuction with pipeline "owner" to cover all bases.
