Swindon are turning off fixed speed cameras.
"At the end of the day all these devices do is take pictures of people breaking the speed limit, they're not actually managing the speeds and they're not educating people."

Perhaps, perhaps not. They are doing it to save money, but saving money by installing three vehicle-activated temporary cameras instead on three of the sites of the fixed cameras. Also
