Posted By Alex W Falconer Dont think there is anything concrete available from either HSE or EHO Why not have a look at British Safety Council or RoSPA websites? I know the safety awards ceremonies have been and gone, however you should still find copies of their guidance notes http://www.rospa.com/awa.../guidance_notes_2009.pdf You may have to give British Safety Council a call! Using the RoSPA guidance as an example, "Table A" gives various figures depending on your industry, and these can be a starting point to benchmark your own company figures against. There are not much difference between RoSPA and BSC figures, but you should at least find it useful.
