Posted By Ian Sharpe Hi All, I'm looking for some help. Hopefully this is the right place - I looked at the study forum but it appeared to be more about what to study than acutal support. Anyways, my question, I'm looking for some help on a course I'm doing. The question relates to safe systems of work for a licensed asbestos removal contractor. Now I've been through the HSE site and the recomended reading for the course but it all relates to un licensed work. I have the regulations and have drawn what I can from them but can't help thinking I've missed something. To that end can anyone point me to some literature on the web ? (I'm overseas)or give me some bullet points that I can go away and read up on ? Any help very much appreciated, best wishes Ian PS I have asked the IOSH technical guys and they are coming back to me but this may be quicker.

Posted By Descarte Have you read the following? HSG 247 Asbestos - The Licensed Contractor's Guide.pdf I think that would be the best place to start, failiing that there may also be information in part contained within the following. MDHS 100 Asbestos surveys.pdf MDHS 77 Sampling and identifcation of Asbestos in Bulk Materials.pdf L127 Management of Asbestos at work.pdf HSG 248 asbestos sampling.pdf
