Posted By Buzz Anyone carry out the health screening approach for HAV? If so, how much do you pay for initial nurse and then doctor referrals for individuals? Feel free to e-mail if you would like. thanks

Posted By Bob Youel It all depends on the individual circumstances as each area of the country has different rates as do companies and situations are different e.g. it cost me less in Liverpool than it did Manchester for the same service ~ the same time because L-Pool used local self employed agency staff [~£20.00 PHr nurses & £100 PHr for doctors] whereas we could not get that type of person in Manchester and had to employ a company with higher charges If we used the L-Pool based staff we then had to add on travelling costs which came out more expensive Undertake a costing exercise NB: The rates quoted are old rates!

Posted By stephen smith HI Buzz, Have you tried your local NHS occ health unit, they are usually very competitive around £100 per appointment and theres a huge added bonus in that any other non allied health complaint issues will be picked up by the NHS I use peterboroughs quite often and they are very good also for Stress related and any other occ health problem, including back to work and reasonable amendment advice. regards stephen
