Posted By zuleha69 As a new memeber to occ.h&s. I carried out a safety inspection in my workplace and found that the company's toilets are not satisfactory. The flushing pressure is weak and they take ages to refill for the next user. Is there any regs in relation to this, that will support my finidings?........

Posted By Kevin Brown The ACOP to Reg 20 states that WCs should be connected to a suitable drainage system and be provided with an effective means for flushing with water. The test of whether there is suitable provision would be if the cisterns recharged fast enough to make the WCs 'readily accessible' to enable everyone at work to use them 'without undue delay'. The ACOP also shows minimum numbers for facilities based on the size and composition of the workforce.
