Posted By Jonathan Sandler CMIOSH We all know and respect the work that HSE inspectors do however with the latest e coli outbreaks and the lack of enforcement that EHOs show to our local communities do we need them? My expierance as an ex H&S EHO, has made me aware that it is NOT cost effective for the LA that I worked for to enforce H&S. Looking forward to your comments.

Posted By Dave Wilson The problem with EHO's ios they do not get any training in Industrial(sic) safety. Only rules / regs / and how to enforce. Everything else is picked up on the job. Dave EX EHO That said the HSE are garbage at anything other than safety - food hygiene in a large manufacturing plant , not a scooby do!
