Posted By Brian Horrocks Has anyone heard of the following training qualification and/or training provider. 'DPMT Risk Management Practitioner' Looking at a CV with this qualification claimed, no IOSH or British Safety Council qualifications claimed. A quick Google search brings up an organisation in the Bristol area, but I have not found a direct web link. The result is also pre-fixed with the word 'Admiral' Is this related to Admimiral insurance?? Any help appreciated.

Posted By grahams Why not call the contact number on the web site which is a training provider. I'm sure they'll give you all the information you want.

Posted By Brian Horrocks I will call in due course, I was just seeing what feedback I got from here first. It seems a little strange not to easily find a web link, these days, as I would guess any serious training provider will now advertise courses and take booking etc via the wonders of the internet. As previous, after 15yrs H&s experience I have never heard of this qualification.

Posted By Brian Horrocks Ok, thanks. I would guess this is some internal MOD safety qualification/course.

Posted By Lwood From the depths of my memory, I think it's an MoD course run at Abbey Wood (Bristol)for procurement teams and refers to project risk management. I don't think it has too much to do with H&S in general, its focus was more toward projects and the risks involved in delivery. This info, if it is as I remember, is at least 5 years old! Therefore, please treat with caution. L
