Posted By steven n Now we all now AV gloves are not much use (if any!) but what about anti vibration handles? It is my feeling that as with gloves, they can call them AV as they do reduce vibration but not the frequency that causes harm. Is this the case? And does anyone have any figures? Thank you in advance.

Posted By Descarte If by anti vibration you mean padding on the handle doubtful, however some now have integral dampening systems built in (like some pneumatic road hammer type drills) in which case yes.

Posted By Ron Hunter As with the gloves, they do help a bit in keeping the hands warm. There is an education issue too in changing the habit of gripping the handles too firmly - letting the tool do the work - a potential problem with soft-grip handles.
