Posted By steve troubridge i am looking to use an alternative to the bleaches that we currently use for the cleaning of the temporary toilets on numerous construction sites. this is for environmental reasons. our current bleach supplier is looking into this. was wondering what others use on site?

Posted By martinw Hope that you are not just using bleach Steve, as it is not a very good cleansing agent. It is a disinfectant and removes colour to make things look clean, but is not good in itself as a cleaner. Also you have to be really careful as if you use bleach then one of the acid based toilet cleaners, you may get chlorine as a by-product, rather deadly. Have a look at http://www.chemicalsuppliers.uk.com/ I have nothing to do with them but years ago when I did H&S for a retail cleaning company I found their website, which has a product guide tab, and gives info about different cleaning product types there.
