I am trying to put together an awareness campaign to prevent hand injuries on site, this is surprisingly the most common injured part on my site.
Are there any sources of information that would help be produce this please?

Good thinking, Andrew
It is a little more subtle than meets the eye, in so far as you need to think about how you use a relatively small number of words and images to convey messages that will get attention and stimulate people to change their behaviour, consistently and for good.
Relevant sources of guidance include:
A. The HSE guidance accompanying the 1996 regulations on signs and signage
B. A good guide to cogntive ergonomics such as David Oborne's text published by Wiley in 1995.

One of the significant reasons is that we probably use hands more than any other part of the body and as we term it, put it in the "line of fire" , i.e expose it to various hazards.
We have the same statistics, and whereas it is good practice to reduce hand injuries, we should also take note of the above.
Much more can be done if the ergonomics was given proper attention. Also, if dependent upon hand-protection PPE (gloves), it is vital to assess and then select the optimum one.
