Posted By Cathal Duffy Just hooked up with IOSH on Facebook today. Is this an unofficial page and if it is not why are they using IOSH logo / website etc?

Posted By Anne Smart Hi Cathal, No this isn't an official IOSH Facebook group. We haven't started using social networks like Facebook because we provide networking opportunities through this website, our corporate events and the events organised by IOSH branches and groups. Thanks for spotting it - we're looking into this. Anne Smart, IOSH media and campaigns co-ordinator

Posted By Anne Smart Hi Cathal, I reported this group to Facebook and it's since been removed. You can only add a Facebook group for a company if you are an authorised representative of that organisation. The admin of this group didn't have permission to create an official IOSH group, which is why I reported it. If you're interested in connecting with IOSH in ways other than through the forums, membership networks etc then you might want to link to our company profile on LinkedIn.
